The price covers exclusive use of the private vehicle for up to 8 guests for the full day: Antalya to Pamukkale and back, with stops at the white travertine terraces, the ancient city of Hierapolis, and the option to swim in Cleopatra’s Antique Pool. The hot air balloon flight, licensed guide, and site entrance fees are arranged and paid locally in Pamukkale — your coordinator will confirm current balloon prices and availability when you book. No deposit required.
If you prefer an all-inclusive balloon tour where the flight, guide, and lunch are included in a single price, see our Pamukkale balloon experience group tour at €135 per person. For a full picture of what Pamukkale offers beyond the terraces, our Pamukkale things to do guide covers Hierapolis, the thermal pools, and the best time to visit. 03:00–04:00 — Hotel Pickup (Antalya)
Early departure is required for the sunrise balloon flight. Your driver collects your group from hotels in Antalya, Belek, Side, Kemer, or Alanya. The drive to Pamukkale takes approximately 3 hours from central Antalya. Exact pickup time is confirmed with your booking based on the balloon operator's schedule.
06:30–08:00 — Hot Air Balloon Flight over Pamukkale
On arrival in the Pamukkale area, your group is handed over to the balloon operator for the sunrise flight. The balloon ride takes approximately 45–60 minutes and covers the white travertine terraces, the ruins of Hierapolis, and the Çürüksu Valley below. Balloon flight is booked and paid directly with the local operator (€90–140 per person, seasonal pricing). Your coordinator confirms availability at the time of booking. 08:00–09:00 — Breakfast & Landing Ceremony
Most balloon operators include a brief celebratory breakfast or drinks after landing. Your driver will collect the group and transfer to the Pamukkale site entrance.
09:00–11:30 — Pamukkale Travertines & Hierapolis
Walk barefoot across the white calcium terraces — warm mineral water flows down the stepped pools year-round. The terraces lead up to the ruins of Hierapolis, the Roman spa city founded in the 2nd century BC. Main landmarks include the Roman theatre, the great necropolis stretching along the hillside, and the sacred pool area. Site entrance ticket paid locally (approx. €30 per person). An optional licensed guide is available locally (approx. €100).
11:30–12:30 — Cleopatra's Antique Pool (Optional)
The Antique Pool is a thermal swimming pool containing submerged marble columns from the original Roman colonnade. Swimming here is optional and ticketed separately. The water is warm and mildly effervescent from natural mineral content.
12:30–13:30 — Lunch
Lunch is available at local restaurants in the Pamukkale village area at your own cost. Your driver can recommend options near the site exit.
13:30–16:30 — Return to Antalya
The private vehicle departs for Antalya. Most guests are back at their hotels by 16:30–17:30 depending on hotel location.
Awesome blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers? I'm hoping to start my own blog soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I'm completely overwhelmed .. Any recommendations? Thank you!https://www.droversointeru.com
