Cappadocia Tour from Antalya — 2-Day Guided Tour with Hotel

Day 1 — Early Morning — Hotel Pickup from Antalya
Early morning departure from your hotel in Antalya. Pickup time depends on hotel location — guests are collected from approximately 05:00–06:00 to allow for the full-day programme. The journey to Cappadocia is approximately 550 km; the coach stops at a service area on the way. Total drive time is approximately 7–8 hours.

Day 1 — Arrival in Cappadocia — Kaymaklı Underground City
The first stop on arrival is Kaymaklı Underground City — a multi-level subterranean city carved into volcanic rock, used by early Christians as a refuge. The site extends to eight levels below ground; the guided tour covers the ventilation shafts, storage rooms, churches, and communal spaces. Entrance ticket included.

Day 1 — Pigeon Valley, Uçhisar Castle & Love Valley
Your guide leads the group through three viewpoints: Pigeon Valley, named for the hundreds of carved dovecotes in the cliff faces; Uçhisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia with panoramic views over the fairy chimney formations; and Love Valley, known for its unusually shaped rock columns. A short visit to a local onyx and gemstone centre is included.

Day 1 — Red Valley Sunset Viewpoint (Optional)
An optional visit to the Red Valley viewpoint to watch the sunset over the volcanic rock formations is available. This stop is not included in the base price — the guide will advise on timing and entry on the day.

Day 1 — Hotel Check-In — Dinner at the Hotel
Check-in at a 4-star hotel in the Cappadocia region. Dinner is included at the hotel restaurant. A traditional Turkish night show with entertainment is available as an optional paid extra on the evening of Day 1.

Day 2 — Breakfast — Hot Air Balloon Viewing (Optional)
Day 2 begins with hotel breakfast (included). The morning hot air balloon flight over Cappadocia is the most popular optional activity — if pre-booked, your driver transfers you to the launch site for the sunrise flight (flight price not included in the tour; book separately through the guide or in advance). Guests not taking the balloon flight may stay at the hotel until check-out.

Day 2 — Return to Antalya via Konya
After check-out, the coach departs for Antalya. The return route passes through Konya — a stop at a local restaurant for lunch at your own expense is scheduled. A visit to a leather goods centre in the area is also included. The coach arrives back in Antalya in the evening; hotel drop-off follows in reverse pickup order.
