Olympos cable car Tahtali Mountain tour from Antalya takes you from sea level to the 2,365-metre summit of Tahtali Mountain in an 11-minute ride — €59 per person, with hotel pickup included from Antalya, Belek, Side, Kemer, and Alanya. Board one of the world’s longest cable cars at the Olympos station, rise through pine-forested ridges and open sky, and step out onto a summit with 360-degree views across the Mediterranean coastline, the Taurus mountain range, and the ancient ruins of Phaselis far below. Your TURSAB-licensed guide accompanies the group throughout, round-trip cable car tickets are included, and no deposit is required to book.
If you want to explore the wider Olympos area, our Olympos travel guide covers the ancient ruins, Chimaera flames, and the best time to visit. 08:00–09:00 — Hotel Pickup
Your driver collects you from your hotel in Antalya, Belek, Side, or Alanya. Kemer guests are collected closer to the cable car station. Exact pickup time varies by hotel location and will be confirmed with your booking.
09:00–09:30 — Drive Through Beydağları National Park
The route to the Olympos cable car station passes through Beydağları Coastal National Park — pine and cedar forest, glimpses of the Mediterranean through the trees, and the first views of Tahtali rising above the ridgeline. Your guide covers the mountain's history and what to expect at the summit.
09:30–09:45 — Board the Cable Car (726m Station)
The lower station sits at 726 metres. Cabins hold up to 80 passengers and the 4.3-kilometre ride to the summit takes approximately 11 minutes. The ascent is smooth — watch the coastline open up behind you as the forest drops away below.
09:45–11:15 — Tahtali Summit (2,365m) — Free Time
At the summit you have approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes of free time. Walk the observation platforms, photograph the panoramic Mediterranean views, and on clear days see the ancient harbour of Phaselis and the Taurus range stretching east toward Antalya. The summit restaurant and cafeteria are available at your own cost. In winter months the summit is typically snow-covered — bring a warm layer.
11:15–11:30 — Descent by Cable Car
Return ride down to the lower station. The views on the descent face toward the sea — a different perspective from the ascent.
11:30–13:30 — Return to Antalya
Comfortable return drive in the air-conditioned minibus through the national park. ~
13:30 — Hotel Drop-off
Back at your hotel before early afternoon — time for lunch and an afternoon at the beach or pool.
