About This Tour

Antalya Olympos cable car city tour combines three of the region’s most distinctive experiences in one full day — €59 per person, with hotel pickup included from Antalya, Belek, Side, Kemer, and Alanya. The tour visits the Upper Düden Waterfall where a 20-metre cascade drops through a cliff cave into a gorge, rides the Olympos Cable Car to the 2,365-metre summit of Mount Tahtali for 360° views of the Turkish Riviera and the Taurus Mountains, and finishes with a guided walk through Kaleiçi — Antalya’s walled old quarter, passing Hadrian’s Gate, the Fluted Minaret, and the ancient Roman harbour. Lunch, cable car and waterfall entrance tickets, and a TURSAB-licensed guide are all included. Groups are capped at 12 people. No deposit required to book.

For a half-day cable car experience on its own, see our Olympos cable car tour to Tahtali Mountain. To explore more of what Antalya offers, browse things to do in Antalya or see all day trips from Antalya.

Itinerary

08:30–09:30 — Hotel Pickup
Your driver collects you from your hotel in Antalya, Belek, Side, Kemer, or Alanya. Exact pickup time depends on your hotel location and will be confirmed after booking. The tour runs on selected days (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday) — your confirmation will specify the departure date.

09:30–10:15 — Upper Düden Waterfall
The first stop is the Upper Düden Waterfall, located 13 kilometres north of Antalya city centre on the Düden River. The water drops 20 metres through a carved limestone cliff into a gorge below, and a path leads behind the curtain of water into the cave behind the falls. Your guide explains the waterfall's role in Antalya's water supply history and points out the best angles for photographs.

10:15–11:30 — Drive to Olympos Cable Car Station
The minivan heads south along the D400 coastal road toward Kemer. The Olympos Teleferik base station is approximately 70 kilometres from Antalya city, in the hills above Çamyuva. The drive takes about 75 minutes and follows the coastline past Konyaaltı beach, the pine-covered cliffs of the Bey Mountains, and the resort strip of Kemer.

11:30–13:15 — Olympos Cable Car to Mount Tahtali (2,365m)
The cable car ascent takes approximately 10 minutes, rising from sea level to 2,365 metres on one of the longest aerial tramways in the world. On a clear day — most days from spring to autumn — the view from the top spans the entire Gulf of Antalya, the Kemer coastline, the Olympos ruins visible on the slope below, and the Taurus Mountain ridge stretching east toward Side. Your guide identifies the landmarks from the summit terrace. Allow 45–60 minutes at the top before the descent.

13:15–14:15 — Lunch
Lunch is served at a restaurant en route between the cable car station and Antalya city. The meal is included in the tour price. Drinks are not included and can be ordered separately.

14:15–16:30 — Kaleiçi Old Town, Antalya
The tour enters Kaleiçi through the Roman-era Hadrian's Gate, built in honour of the Emperor Hadrian's visit in 130 AD. Your guide walks the group through the cobblestone lanes past the Fluted Minaret (Yivli Minare), the Clock Tower, the Kesik Minaret ruins, and down to the ancient Roman harbour — still in use as a marina. You have free time in the harbour quarter to explore independently, browse the bazaar lanes, or sit at one of the waterfront cafés.

16:30–16:45 — Optional Boat Trip from Kaleiçi Harbour (€5)
A 1-hour boat trip from Kaleiçi old harbour is available for €5 per person, payable directly on the day. The boat sails along the cliff coastline to the Lower Düden Waterfall — the point where the river drops 40 metres directly into the Mediterranean Sea. This section is optional; guests who prefer to continue exploring Kaleiçi may skip it and meet the group at the harbour for the return transfer.

17:30–18:30 — Return to Hotels
Transfer back to your hotel. Return times vary by hotel location — most Antalya and Belek guests are back by 18:00–18:30.

Drinks and a 1-hour optional boat trip (€5 extra) are not included.

The Olympos Cable Car (Olympos Teleferik) rises to the summit of Mount Tahtali at 2,365 metres above sea level — one of the longest aerial tramways in the world. On a clear day the view covers the entire Gulf of Antalya from Antalya city to the east, the Kemer resort coast below, the ancient Olympos ruins on the hillside, and the Taurus Mountain ridge stretching across the horizon. The ascent takes approximately 10 minutes each way.

The Upper Düden Waterfall is located 13 kilometres north of Antalya city centre, where the Düden River drops 20 metres through a carved limestone cliff. A path leads behind the waterfall into the cave behind the falls — one of the most photographed spots in the Antalya region. This is different from the Lower Düden (Karpuzkaldıran) Waterfall near Lara, which drops directly into the Mediterranean Sea and is visible on the optional boat trip.
