Private Side & Manavgat Bazaar tour from Antalya visits two of the south coast’s most rewarding stops in a single afternoon — €59 per person, with hotel pickup included from Antalya, Belek, Side, Kemer, and Alanya. The tour departs at 15:00 so your group reaches Side’s Temple of Apollo during golden hour; from there the guide walks you through the old town’s marble lanes, the Roman harbour, and the Temples of Apollo and Athena before the group moves on to Manavgat Bazaar — one of the largest traditional markets on the coast, where locals shop for spices, textiles, and handmade goods. The vehicle and licensed guide are reserved exclusively for your group throughout. No entrance fees for the temple area or old town. Side Museum entrance is optional, paid locally. No deposit required to book.
For background on Side before you visit, our Side Turkey travel guide covers the ruins, beaches, and best times to go. For other private tours in the Antalya region, browse private experiences in Antalya or explore the full range of day trips from Antalya.
15:00 — Hotel Pickup
Your driver collects you from your hotel in Antalya, Belek, Side, Kemer, or Alanya. Exact pickup time is confirmed with your booking. The drive to Side takes approximately 75 minutes from central Antalya.
16:15–17:45 — Side Ancient City — Temples & Old Town
The tour arrives in Side during the afternoon. First stop is the Temple of Apollo — six Corinthian columns at the tip of Side's headland, directly above the sea. The afternoon light hits the stone from the west, making this one of the best-photographed sites on the Turkish Riviera. The adjacent Temple of Athena sits steps away; both temples are in an open archaeological zone with no entrance ticket. Your guide then leads a walking tour of Kaleiçi — Side's old town — through marble-paved lanes, past Roman-era walls and Byzantine foundations, to the ancient harbour. Side (pronounced "see-deh") is a living town built on top of its own ruins: cafés on Roman floors, shops in Ottoman houses built from ancient stone.
17:45–18:30 — Side Open-Air Museum (Optional) & Free Time
Guests interested in archaeology can visit the Side Museum, which displays Roman statues, inscriptions, sarcophagi, and mosaics in an open-air courtyard. Entrance fee paid locally (not included). Others can use the time to browse the harbour-front bazaar or sit at a waterfront café.
18:30–19:30 — Manavgat Bazaar
The group drives 4 kilometres to Manavgat for the evening bazaar. Manavgat Bazaar is one of the largest traditional markets on the south coast — the stalls are aimed at local shoppers rather than tourists, which keeps the prices and atmosphere different from the souvenir shops in Side. Produce, spices, dried fruits, handmade textiles, ceramics, and leather goods fill the covered market. Budget cash for any purchases; card payment is not universal at bazaar stalls.
19:30–20:30 — Return to Hotels
Transfer back to your hotel. Drop-off time varies by hotel location — most Antalya and Belek guests are back by 20:30.
