Green Canyon lake tour from Antalya is a full-day freshwater escape into the Taurus Mountains — €49 per person, with hotel pickup from Antalya, Belek, Side, Kemer, and Alanya. The route heads to the Oymapınar reservoir, a vast emerald lake carved into a pine-forested canyon 130 kilometres north of Antalya, where a full-day boat cruise covers two freshwater swim stops in clear calm bays, a lakeside lunch served at a restaurant on the water’s edge, and a slow return through the canyon walls where kingfishers, freshwater turtles, and native fish are regularly spotted. A TURSAB-licensed guide accompanies the group throughout the day. Lunch is included in the price. A 50% deposit is required at booking to secure your place, with the balance settled on the day.

07:15–09:30 — Hotel Pickup & Drive to Green CanyonYour driver collects you from your hotel in Antalya, Belek, Side, Kemer, or Alanya. Exact pickup time depends on your hotel location and will be confirmed after booking. The drive north into the Taurus Mountains takes approximately 2 hours from central Antalya, passing through mountain villages and pine forest before descending to the Oymapınar reservoir.
09:30–10:00 — Arrival at Oymapınar & Boarding
You arrive at the lake marina and board the tour boat. Your guide introduces the day's schedule and explains the geology of the Oymapınar reservoir — a man-made lake formed by the Oymapınar Dam in 1984, its vivid colour produced by the clarity of the mountain water and the limestone canyon walls.
10:00–11:00 — First Cruise Section — Into the Canyon
The boat moves into the canyon. Pine forests rise directly from the waterline on both sides, with limestone cliffs overhead. The lake surface is calm and reflects the forested slopes. Your guide points out the canyon formations and the wildlife along the banks. The silence is broken only by birdsong and the sound of the boat engine.
11:00–11:30 — First Swim Stop
The boat anchors in a sheltered bay for a 30-minute swim stop. The water is clear and freshwater — noticeably different from the Mediterranean. Life jackets and boarding ladders are available. Non-swimmers can remain on deck.
11:30–12:30 — Continue Cruise — Upper Canyon
The cruise continues deeper into the canyon. The scenery becomes more dramatic as the canyon walls close in. Keep an eye out for kingfishers and the occasional freshwater turtle resting on submerged rocks near the banks.
12:30–13:30 — Lakeside Lunch
Lunch is served at a restaurant on the water's edge. The meal is included in the tour price. Drinks can be ordered separately and are not included. This is a rest stop before the return journey. 13:30–15:00 — Second Swim Stop & Free Time
After lunch, the boat moves to a second swim location. You have approximately 90 minutes for a second swim, relaxing on deck, or optional water activities (canoe, light fishing) if available on the day — these are paid directly at the venue and are not included in the tour price. 15:00–16:30 — Return Cruise & Wildlife Spotting
The return cruise passes back through the canyon at a slower pace. The afternoon light on the water is different from the morning — your guide points out the best spots for wildlife: kingfishers, freshwater turtles, and native canyon fish are commonly seen on the return leg. The boat arrives back at the marina and the transfer to hotels begins.
